Description

The idea is taken from the elements used in Qajar dynasty architecture. Considering the geographical location, creation time, and past events of this project, its interior space was designed in a post-modern style to connect the past and the present. Cafe Pars is one of the most famous cafes in Lalehzar and is nationally registered as a Pars motel that was built during the Qajar dynasty. Used watercolor scheme paints and colors spectrums with high matching and attractiveness. In the Qajar era, some elements and shapes such as arc-shaped, crescent-shaped, 'Orsi' and 'Santouri' entered architecture which is counted as architectural characteristics of this era. In this design, Iranian elements are used, such as Qajar's Persian carpets. The special color of this space creates a feeling of intimacy and closeness in the audience. And by seeing the large-sized photos of the Qajar period and the old Iranian carpet, that make this place a gateway between the past and the present. Using curved lines in design for different zoning of the environment Using a combination of pastel colors that try to make the wall, ceiling, and floor of the same color to balance the environment - Using plaster on the wall - Using plants to balance the environment - Using Qajar dynasty paintings in large-size For the better design of this project, the Qajar dynasty and the architectural style and components of that period were investigated based on visiting similar buildings and studying historical books. The important challenges of this project were how to combine traditional architecture with modern styles to create balance and harmony in the design.
