Description
The House Around the Bay is located in the urban gardens of Gouyom Shiraz, on a 2000-square-meter plot. This area has become popular for residents seeking weekend villas. The client requested a two-story villa despite prior site changes. Initially, architects felt discouraged by the client’s resistance to essential modifications, as they had already built a classic gazebo and a pool. Consequently, we decided to design a new shallow pool surrounding the existing one. This configuration created a harmonious connection with the garden and the surrounding area. We transformed the classic gazebo into a modern circular tent, integrating it with the pool design. This compromise was beneficial for both parties. Ultimately, the pool became the focal point, defining the villa's structure. We proposed a single-story villa with a basement instead of the requested two stories, allowing the surrounding trees to remain prominent.
Company information
The Moshir Architectural Studio was established in 2009 by Mojtaba Houshangian Shirazi. Since then, the studio's projects have included the design of sports halls, shops, residential apartments, and villas, which continue to this day.
