In converting this three-bedroom unit to a two-bedroom one, the design aimed to enhance modern living while recalling past spatial patterns and respecting the client's personality and experiences. In the past, small yet defined spaces created a sense of community, raising the question: why did spaces feel more spacious with thirty people than with today's seven or eight? To address this, we divided the unified space with transparent partitions to allow privacy when needed or connection when desired, inspired by multi-panel doors in traditional homes. The living room, being the most private, is set off from the direct line of sight from the dining and kitchen areas. The master bedroom includes a closet space, and the second room serves as a dressing area. Materials and colors, like pistachio green cabinets and brick flooring, evoke memories of past homes.
The Moshir Architectural Studio was established in 2009 by Mojtaba Houshangian Shirazi. Since then, the studio's projects have included the design of sports halls, shops, residential apartments, and villas, which continue to this day.
