Description

The "Tan" chair is an abstract interpretation of a robust human body embracing another. This rocking chair, inspired by the complexities and beauty of the human form, is designed to convey a sense of security and support when seated. In its design, every curve and line is shaped with consideration of the forms and movements of the human body. Drawing inspiration from the human body means a deep understanding of its functions and hidden forms. In this context, the wood used in the chair's structure evokes the bones of the human body, giving it strength and stability. In contrast, the natural leather used for the seat and backrest reflects the softness of human skin. The "Tan" chair, like an open and welcoming embrace, invites other bodies to itself. This chair aims to challenge the space of interaction between humans and design, creating a piece that encompasses not only aesthetics but also human emotions.
