Description
This project’s goal was to create a functional, calming environment that reduces patient anxiety while addressing spatial constraints. Preserving the existing structure and the inability to place the reception desk on the main axis required a design that guides the visitor’s gaze across the space, ensuring better spatial understanding upon entry. Curved lines served as the primary design element, fostering a sense of flow and friendliness while softening the clinical nature of the space. These curves intuitively guide movement, making the environment feel welcoming. Lighting was strategically used to improve spatial clarity and emphasize key areas such as the reception and pathways. The dominant use of white conveys cleanliness and calmness, complemented by natural greenery to introduce vitality and alleviate stress. Minimalist materials and a distraction-free design ensure a soothing, human-centered clinical environment.
