Description
This photo was taken in one of the southernmost cities of Iran, which is called Bandar Abbas. I was photographing these fishing rods called "moshta" and after a few minutes their fisherman came here to check and saw me photographing them and talked to me about how he fishes and What problems does it have. He said: This type of fishing is more suitable for old people who can no longer fish with much activity. When the water is low these sticks are buried in the sand and then a net is attached to it. The problems he had were new to me and it was the first time I heard them. He said: For several years city sewage has been entering this sea and the fishermen's catch has decreased and I cannot catch many fish with this method and This is a problem for my income and I cannot solve it. At the end of our goodbye he asked me to be his voice and help him with this photo.
