Description
The "sweet house" was an offered design and furniture proposal." for a young couple residing in the picturesque mountainous region of Niavaran, Tehran. After years of living abroad, they chose to return to Iran, yearning to relive their cherished childhood memories and recapture the nostalgic image they held of their homeland during those formative years. Drawing inspiration from this rich background, the design process commenced with a strong focus on two key elements. Firstly, we placed great importance on the artful coloring of the spaces, a prominent feature in the interior architecture of historic Iranian buildings. Secondly, we embraced the utilization of cost-effective Iranian materials and accessories, skillfully designed by Iranian artists and expertly crafted in local factories. The result is a delightful Persian home that evokes a sense of childlike wonder, harmoniously combining feelings of tranquility and exhilaration.
