Description
The purpose of this product is to evoke emotion and perception by creating ambiguity; inviting to face it through the experience of touch and complementing pleasure by challenging the power of imagination. The human mind gets anxious confronting obscure, unknown, and unusual phenomena This form of anxiety has become a pleasant sensorial contact in this product. By using a flexible material such as a mat between tightly tied threads such as a weft thread, the sound of rustle can be heard at the same time as you sit on it, and the experience of touch is accompanied by the sound. This functional chair was designed in 2021 for the conceptual collection "Chair as a sculpture" and has been exposed to the public in 2022, and the user's reaction to it was recorded and analyzed.
