Description
LOOMÉ Eyewear Collection reimagines discarded materials through contemporary craftsmanship and sustainable design. The frames are primarily created from layered and compressed upcycled denim, shaped through hot-press construction techniques to form a lightweight yet durable structure with an ergonomic fit. Reclaimed wood is selectively integrated within the internal frame structure to enhance reinforcement and durability without compromising comfort. Developed using water-based processes, the collection is water-resistant and designed to resist yellowing and discoloration over time, supporting longer product life cycles. Selected pieces also incorporate vintage Persian kilim textiles, some over 80-100 years old, transforming forgotten handwoven fabrics into contemporary wearable objects. By combining sculptural silhouettes, heritage materials, and innovative construction methods, LOOMÉ bridges fashion, sustainability, and cultural storytelling through a bold contemporary eyewear language.
