Description
Voicy is the first espresso machine with built-in voice assistant. A smart product combining quality coffee with functions provided by Alexa - all in a beautifully designed device. Users can interact through the UI, voice commands or the app to check the status, consumption, order coffee and, above all, make espresso. The design builds on Lavazza's existing form language and is recognizably Italian in surfacing and attention to detail. It is characterised by a seamless shell and a prominently placed UI. The cup rest can be adjusted easily, placing smaller cups closer to the spout. This reduces splashes and benefits temperature and crema. Voicy is part of the A MODO MIO system, which also offers compostable capsules. Energy consumption, life cycle assessment and noise level were important aspects in the development process. Innovation, functionality, usability & aesthetics in harmony to meet the needs of users who experience their coffee ritual in an increasingly personalized way.
