Description
This project was a small pool located in the courtyard of a villa, our client wanted to convert it into a public pool. One of the challenges of this project was how to provide light when it's not possible to have a window. The Islamic government of Iran has prohibited using windows in swimming pools .we could not use concrete and steel structures due to the restrictions of urban construction rules. so, we should find a way to use sunlight wile covering the pool without steel or concrete. we found the only solution in the use of a semi-transparent structure. According to the decision taken in the previous stage, and the existence of curved forms in the roof Tension Fabric Structure , designing of all parts of the project was based on curves and forms having harmony with the roof. Spaces such as the coffee shop, benches, showers, etc. all designed to work with each other. they join together and form the whole design as an aesthetic and decorative element.
