Description
"Bermuda Compasses" can be introduced as evolved drafting compasses with an addition of a third leg (C) which has the ability to rotate 360 degrees around the axis of the first leg (A) and also the possibility of simultaneous longitudinal movement on the axis of the first leg (A), so that the necessary maneuver for measuring between the three points (A, B and C) can be provided to shape a triangle. The presence of graduated plates that specify the angle from zero to ninety degrees provides recording the angle of legs A, B and C, and also the presence of a 360-degree graduated plate provides the possibility of detecting and recording the angle of leg C around the axis of leg A. Creating geometric volumes often requires complicated calculations or the use of special softwares. "Bermuda Compasses" can be used in the measurement and estimation of geometric volumes, either complicated or simple, without the need of any pre-calculations, offering more possibilities in ideation and design.
