Description

The belt buckle is inspired by the Khan Abad Gate of Tehran from the Qajar era, bridging architecture and cultural memory. Its upper section features a four-petal motif symbolizing the four elements-water, wind, fire, and earth-alongside the sun, representing illumination. A purple amethyst signifies bravery, unity, and freedom, while the leather belt bears the emblem of the Derafsh Kaviani, the ancient Iranian banner of resistance. The engraved word "Iran Shahr", inspired by Pahlavi script and Sasanian coinage, evokes the cultural identity of ancient Persia. The lower section of the buckle incorporates spiral motifs symbolizing water and Anahita, the Persian goddess of water, complemented by lapis lazuli representing the Persian Gulf. The belt chain, designed for stability around the waist, symbolizes unity and cohesion, drawing inspiration from Sasanian coins and filigree jewelry, and is adorned with hand-carved lapis lazuli stones. it is a reminder that jewelry can transcend beauty.
