Description
Gozar brings the nostalgia of history to contemporary design. it isn't simply a standing lamp or its portable modules, but a symbolic reminder of humanity's transition from traditional to modern life. the idea was born during long power outages, when flashlights and mobile phones were unable to provide meaningful light. through this project, the designer expresses a silent protest against energy disorder and imbalance. inspired by traditional kerosene lamps, the form is minimalist. It runs on rechargeable batteries, charged wirelessly through it's dedicated stand. the lighting modules can be detached and used anywhere on table, shelves or other surfaces. Light intensity is adjustable with a dimmer, recreates the warm glow of fuel lamps, allowing today's users to experience nostalgia physically rather than only seeing it in old films. Gozar bridges memory, technology, and modern lifestyle, recalling the past while pointing toward a conscious future.
