Description
This office-commercial project, with 80% of its shell covered by architectural louvers, is located in one of the busiest urban areas. The main challenge of lighting was to maintain the geometric identity of the building without imposing the element of light. The design strategy was based on "drawing light instead of adding it"; straight lines of light with minimal visibility of the source and without glare were implemented along the geometry of the building so that light is part of the architectural language .The top of the building was defined as a landmark. With a width of 2 to 4 meters and more than 5,000 directional pixels, this section has become an urban media platform. The pixels are fixed next to the louvers; they are almost invisible during the day and create an urban effect with a controlled order at night. In addition to creating a nocturnal identity, this light shell is a dynamic medium for displaying advertising and event-oriented content.
