Description
This project is the design and implementation of a product-oriented lighting system for the main bridal makeup room in a beauty salon. The central idea was to recreate white rose petals in the form of a suspended ceiling element ; an element that simultaneously performs the function of general lighting and the decorative identity of the space. Each petal is designed and produced with a specific material and mold and is formed in a non-repeating manner; the difference in curvature, scale and texture creates an organic and living structure that is reminiscent of real nature. This variety of forms flows the light in a soft and diffused way in the space and creates subtle light shadows. As a symbol of love, peace and beginnings, the white rose establishes a conceptual link with the nature of the wedding. The result is a space that combines light, form and meaning in an emotional and lasting experience for the audience.
