Description
A symbol of rebirth of light, hope and renewed life: This cultural/urban monument draws inspiration from the ancient celebration of Yalda. It narrates the passage from darkness to light through art, embodied in a dynamic, continuous form rising to echo the longest night of the year. Its dark body, pierced with luminous openings, evokes the night sky of Yalda. The red and green apertures recall the pomegranate and the rituals of this ancient festival. The gradual movement of the form toward a luminous apex expresses the rebirth of the sun and the triumph of lite over darkness. A unified lighting design strengthens its nocturnal identity, transforming it into a distinctive landmark within the city. The structure is formed based on a steel frame as the primary structural system. the sculpture is divided longitudinally into three sections, each constructed separately and then sequentially assembled on top of one another at the designated urban site.
