When the Sky Touches the Earth.A Dialogue Between Sky , Human Presence, and Architecture. In the village of Darak, where sand dunes meet the sea and the horizon is endless, the night sky is part of the identity of the place. The project began with a question: how can light enter this landscape without diminishing the identity of darkness? The answer was to create a dialogue between the sky and human at the scale of architecture. The light was designed not to dominate, but to define a conscious boundary between light and dark, allowing the night sky to stretch across the dunes and the ground to reflect the sky. Inside, warm controlled light gently reveals stone and wood textures, reinforcing shelter and human presence. Instead of conventional landscape lighting, palm trees became luminous elements, upward light recalls the moon and downward light the sun. Their glow appears only at dusk, then fades, allowing the sky to retain its identity-a bridge between earth and sky.
