Description
Derived from the Persian word for sun, Shamsa reimagines the Korsi -a traditional communal heating table - for the modern era. Fabricated from aerospace-grade titanium, the base inverts the heavy architectural logic of Muqarnas into a lightweight structural lattice. Viewed through the smart glass, this 3D geometry forms the striking top-down silhouette of a Shamseh (sunburst motif). This core acts as an intelligent thermal radiator. Using capacitive sensing, the glass detects user proximity, guiding heating to occupied zones while casting a geometric "light carpet" that expands the room's intimate atmosphere. Addressing digital isolation, the center integrates wireless charging, prompting a "digital detox" to encourage face-to-face engagement. By merging heritage with responsive technology, Shamsa transforms a nostalgic artifact into a modern vessel for human connection.
