Description
DOBA is a transformable wearable bag inspired by the geometry and visual language of traditional Iranian architecture. Influenced by Persian tilework, symmetry, and ornamental patterns, the design translates architectural elements into a contemporary fashion object. Created from upcycled denim and reclaimed Persian kilim textiles, the bag gives discarded materials a renewed purpose within modern fashion while preserving elements of traditional craftsmanship and cultural heritage. Because each piece is made from different reclaimed fabrics and kilims, every DOBA bag becomes naturally unique, with its own distinct textures, patterns, and color combinations. The design transforms from two independent shoulder bags into a wearable vest through an adjustable back connection system, allowing the user to shift between accessory and garment. Even in its wearable form, the bag maintains its full functionality with external zip compartments and internal pockets for everyday use. By combining sustainability, transformability, and architectural inspiration, DOBA presents a modern approach to wearable accessories where fashion, function, and cultural storytelling coexist.
